The Max Planck
Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute) in Hannover is
looking for
COMPUTER/LINUX JUNKIES (student
assistants)
to help building and running a new large scientific computing cluster for data analysis. The new assistants should start working at the earliest possible time.
The
students will also have a chance to support our work with Einstein@Home, one of the world's largest
scientific projects for distributed computing.
We are particularly interested in first- or second-year students who have

The job is
a part-time position with up to 83 hours/month maximum. The payment is in
accordance with the current rules of the Max Planck Society for graduate
assistants without university degree.
The Max
Planck Society wants to raise the proportion of women in areas where their
