Considering that I was a trainman on the Percy train on Sunday, I felt pretty good yesterday. Now I'm back to crappy.

Winning anyway!

Coooooooooooool black hole

Coooooooooooool black hole there MAGIC :)
Did you make it with us in mind, or did you make it and THEN think of us?

David. Sorry about the pain you're in :( but Percy train! Really!? :) That's exciting.

Was it a pullback racing version like this one...

Or did you have to push it along?

Hello everyone :) You know all that stuff I said I was going to do last time I was here? Well I didn't. I will, but I haven't. Tust thoughth I'd pop on and tell you :)

edit: Yes well - that fell apart quite a bit of a lot at the end there didn't it? Let me translate... Just thought I'd pop in and then the rest is okay, okay?

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

I use my mLISA to get the close look and for a while got caught in a wild rotation around the event horizon but then took a lucky bounce away from the black hole after hitting a planet that is getting close to checking out if there is an actual *worm hole*

That's always concerned me over the years. The wormholes I mean. Travelling across the Universe in No Time is superb but, well, how shall I put it ..... into which end of the worm do you go ?? :-) :-)

As for crappy, me too. I have an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection aka Snot Head. Probably workplace acquired. I think I shall invent The Forehead Valve*. For pressure release and rinsing purposes.

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Anniet,
This part of your post made perfect sense to me w/o translation. Darn!! I really screwed up this post. I think I know which end of the wormhole I entered. ssssh!

When you do this please let me know too!! I had sinus surgery in January and STILL have 2 kinds of infections going on, NONE from surgery though!! I had them pre-surgery, which is why I had the surgery done, to open my sinuses up so they would drain!! MULTIPLE rounds of antibiotics later and they are STILL here!! Did I mention that I HATE nasal rinsing, if not....I DO!!!

Both Thomas and Percy are just dressed up single-truck cars. They are "helped" by a real locomotive at the other end of the train. We have always used a diesel for Thomas (this year it was Southern Pacific 1518). This is the first time we have had Percy (his builders plate says he was built in September, 2014), and we used his big Russian cousin "Boris" (a.k.a. Frisco 1630) on the other end of the train. Some of the kids were confused by this. Some were not. Many were not aware of it.

One little girl demanded to know where Gordon and James were. I told her only Thomas and Percy came to visit us, but she didn't buy it.

Because I don't have time to go over to Seti and say it, outta here Ping!

Yes while I was making it I was also thinking about our group of quantum geeks
....and the entire Einstein Project and all the space projects we find out about over my 11 years here.

I had planned on posting that here that same day .....but I would have had to break that "2 posts in a row" rule again

Good to see you stop by!

Yes every time I watch a program with astrophysicists talking about the subject I hear them giving different descriptions of what happens and they as usual speak as if they are stating facts.......which I doubt.

My theory on this is in my lifetime we will never fly a craft near a Black Hole or the *Worm Hole* and at the same time get absolute facts about what happens as it crosses the *Event Horizon* ....we haven't even mastered the Moon yet and have done basically nothing since the 1970's there considering we drive cars that far a few times in each of our lives

Of course with our Space Telescopes we can get pictures of the past from the light waves of the millions of galaxies where we will never go since we can never even cross our own galaxy unless we figure out how to live for thousands of years and you give us that shot in the arm

And of course......hello to you all and have a fine day or night.......sunny day here and I am taking the day off since once again I mixed up 500lbs of concrete again yesterday........and that took many hours and my back was killing me the entire time but I am one of those people that don't stop until the job is done......made another sidewalk and made the Mrs another concrete bear.
