I really wish I could beam down to Busch Stadium http://www.kmov.com/stadiumcam/lg640.htmand see the St. Louis Cardinals play the Cleveland Indians...But although it's only 64 miles away...Getting tickets to a ball game there is harder than getting tickets to the moon.
Hey Dan..used to go to the Cleveland Indians' Ballpark The Jake and getting there by boat from my place on Lake Erie was a lot of fun. Those days are past and I look at the Gulf of Mexico now..

I'm heading back there in a month. Can't wait to get home. Grew up in the SE burb. Worked as a sub in the Garfield Hts School District for a while.

Kathryn...yes I am, but as one who is from Cleveland, you know that there are really two worlds there..East and West of the Cuyahoga River..so, you were a East sider and I was a Westsider. Ended up in Avon Lake on Lake Erie for 25 years. Dove a lot of shipwrecks there, ice-diving in the winter, did a lot of cruising to the waterfront parks and anchorages. It was a good life until the taxes got to be too much..they tell me you could shoot a canon downtown on Euclid Avenue and not hit anyone anymore.
But, You will be getting back at the right time of the year there though,
so enjoy..Stan
