Yes! I was sorting out stuff at home yesterday - with an added stuff I hadn't quite expected *goggle eyes at everyone* a determined hope/effort to save my son from having his worst birthday ever :((
Poor thing discovered just before leaving for uni at 7am that all four of his USB sticks containing his entire term's coursework (due to be electronically submitted tomorrow) were missing. As there has been so much transitioning between rooms with the most light and warmth in, the potential for them to be almost anywhere in the house could not be ignored, so wasn't *pained blink*
The good news is I found them... YAY ... but only after turning the house upside down, and everything in it, inside out. Y-e-e-e-s... they had fallen down the back of his bed into a small box inside a bigger box, which contained a collection of doctor who figures he'd been collecting up until about a decade ago, that were mostly the same colour as the sticks. Frustratingly, he'd been so upset when he left (late) that he forgot to take his phone with him - so he didn't know till he got home at 9pm :(
Apparently *fill with pride* it was the best birthday present he's ever received* :)

Thank you. And now I know what it is that I so strongly felt I was forgetting before I left the house this morning: the notepad on which I write these words down. I'll just have to make do with a yellow sticky note until I get home, I guess. Unless, of course, I solve it before then. In that case, I'll have to use another sticky note to write down the next word so I don't forget what it is before I get home.
