Ah well, fools never differ .... I just gave them $125 :-)

What I find especially interesting is the GNU/Eclipse/C-C++/OpenCL aspects - plus their custom tools and open disclosure - which makes the product very attractive to tinkerers like myself.

Cheers, Mike.

It interests me as well. I put away my bow and arrow and put my geek hat back on.:-)

Winter Iz Here Tip #35 for

Winter Iz Here

Tip #35 for reducing the heating bill: Get a dead rat. Preferably inside the master bedroom wall cavity. That way you have to leave the window open, and thus there is no point having the central heating on. Go to bed fully clothed and with a hat on. Replace rat on a weekly basis as the efficacy subsides. :-) :-)

Funnier still is that two of my work colleagues also have exactly the same problem currently. The rats come inside because of the weather turning, so we throw some bait up/down in the roof/basement, the rat(s) die and hence the windows open. Tis the season for it ....

Of course you can do all of the above without the rat if you like.

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) But we are never truly alone, throughout history there has always been The Rat.

Yeah! Winter Solstice today!

Yeah! Winter Solstice today! :-)

Now the DownUnda days are to be brighter and longer, plus we won't have to kill the village pig.

On the downside an earlier prediction of mine that E@H would get to two (2) PetaFlops is busted.

Cheers, Mike.
