Hello Crunchers,

This is my first post on this forum, despite crunching for more than 6 years now!

I would like to use my Intel iGPU (HD4600 on i5-4670) in addition to my NVIDIA GTX 660. My preference allows Intel GPU to work. I enabled both in my BIOS, download latest driver available and BOINC seems to detect both. I don't have a dummy plug nor a monitor connect to my motherboard. Even with everything I've done and read on forums, I can't get Intel GPU tasks. So, right now, I really don't know what else to do.

Here are the part of my log that might be interesting for this particular problem :

The URL link doesn't work, I get a 404 error.

Can anyone explain me why I don't get jobs when requesting them? More important, how can I resolve this problem?

Thanks for your help and keep crunching!

That was reported at Albert, there was no response, this one works:

https://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/host_sched_logs/11758/11758519

Your Intel GPU doesn't get work because:

a) it's too new for the plan class where driver versions don't matter. (Needs to be a 'HD Graphics [123]|HD Graphics 40**' Intel GPU)
b) for the plan class for your GPU, the driver version is too new.
c) for the beta plan class, you don't have it selected in your project preferences.

Thanks Claggy,

Is there a place I can see if my 2019154300 driver version would be supported if I start using beta tasks? How can I enable beta tasks, I didn't see anything in Einstein preferences? Is this a situation where I would have to create an .xml file?

If beta tasks won't support my driver, do you know where I can find an older version of this driver? I tried searching, but I couldn't go back before 1018154256 version (which is still older than needed).

Thanks for your help!

Beta tasks can be enabled in

Beta tasks can be enabled in your Einstein@home prefs by checking "Run test applications?"
