Right, so a friend mentioned

Right, so a friend mentioned a graphics utility called POV-Ray (Persistence of Vision Raytracer) and I've just traced my first rays. I might have called this piece “The Non-existence of Time, but decided to instead call it “Real Virtuality... happy to post it here to be analized (if you've looked at some of the art from the link, or are familiar with POV-ray, then you already know how cheap and easy this piece is!) :)

More ovaltine, please...

Chipper, I've heard of it,

Chipper,

I've heard of it, never gone beyond the reading, though. Must say, Nice Work!

Don't know that I'd go so far as to say "You're cheap and easy when you rays your piece", though. :-)

Thanks, Michael. I'm still getting to know it; looks like a rather powerful tool. Quick example of a 5th order polynomial from the documentation:

From what you say Chipper, This software is easy to use and cheep to run. Please don't be offended if I got it backwards. :)

The scarey thing is that guys like Digital Blasphemer (I think thats his handle, been a while since I checked his pages) make a "real good" living out of selling this sort of stuff as wallpapers on the net at a price. Not cheap either.

Maybe we could do the same sort of thing with a percentage of the profits going to Einstein@Home. Any thoughts.

P.S Can I have Milo?
