Mike, just a note of appreciation for the even handed and informative moderating you are doing.(Even if you are "on a different continent":) IMHO Moderators don't get enough recognition and thanks for their time and effort. Good on you, Mate, and thanks.....Please keep up the good work! Cheers, Rog :).I would like to extend the same sentiments to Michael Roycraft as well. Thanks, Guys.

Why thank you indeed for those kind words! :-)
I blush ..... and I am suitably encouraged.!!

May I also salute my dear friend Michael Roycraft, whom I have never actually met ( another continent.... ), but who takes the time while in the middle of cancer treatment to contribute here. Go Michael!!! :-)

Cheers, Mike.

Mike, I'd like to add my

Mike,

I'd like to add my voice to thanks, support and appreciation for your style of moderation. Good initiatives, leadership, tolerance, and decisions. Adding to that, you are a almost-limitless fountain of help. I have no idea where you find the time, amongst the duties of maintaining family, house and demanding business, but Thank God you manage it well.

Michael R.

ps - I see that you and I will be co-crunching our first (I think - I monitor most, but not all) WU together. An honor, Sir!

pps - to those who've mentioned me in the same context as Mike H, thank you. I had a little bit of an emotional moment reading that, choked up, eyes a little leaky :-)

As one Michael to two

As one Michael to two Mikes... I too must echo the sentiments of the esteemed colleagues that preceeded me. over and over again, I have seen thoughtfulness, compassion and fairness. It is a pleasure to observe gentle people at work with integrity and intelligence.

Hey that just bangs, my man! You've got the one on my home farm which is called 'Deepthought', it's my eldest son Peter's which I co-opt. Pete named it after the HitchHiker's Guide one. So it's likely to come up with a 42 huh? :-)
As you know I've have to bribe my children with good hardware, so 'tis tres cool for them, and E@H scores when dormant. Remember my daughter Lizzie? Well she's been thru two keyboards since December. Spills Coca Cola on them. I tell her next time it's rehab for her drinking problem! :-)
Cheers, Mike.

Yes, I too would echo those sentiments but I must admit to an otherwise conflict of intrest, Mike and I are in the same team 8-).

So we've spoken on the topic already ;-). Oops, did I have an as yet unanswered e-mail/team post?????

Oo oo oo oo Mike 8-), is the rehab centre still up near the potato farm? For that matter, is the potato farm still there? (Lizzie, not drinking Diet Pepsi?). I'm confused 8^|

@Michael, I've also got mention my appreciation here too. I know Michael was feeling very poorly after a treatment (I think it was) but still answered one of my questions. I hope I expressed my appreciation well enough at the time!

No, that's been done up as a 'retreat' for the City Trendies.
So .... err .... no real change of usage then .... :-)

Yes, but there's mixed vegies now, because Australia is multicultural .... :-)

Alas not, but pretty well anything vaguely electrolytic will do in a keyboard ..... or two ... sigh

Don't worry, it could be worse, you could be paying for it .... :-)

Cheers, Mike.

Ah, that makes sense, our next door neighbour (or should that be next river neighbour?) was second genration Aussie, of Italian descent. He grew Strewberries - Yum? And used Vietnamese pickers. And plenty of other cultures, it must be plenty divers now. Ah, doesn't matter, "cupla dayz" ;)

Don't want to spend anything at the moment, looking at buying two Dell servers that are on special (cheaper than the CPU).
