American Psycho

Equilibrium

Batman Returns

My vote is for American Psycho but I like Equilibrium better to watch time and again - especially with a killer surround sound system. The scene where he bursts into the dark room (beginning) is astonishing. That's all editors and sound people, but it draws you in none the less.

What do you think?

Christian Bale - cooler in ...

easily batman returns. thats such a great movie. christian bale imo is by far the best batman. i like how bale plays 2 different characters, and he actually does it well. when bale is playing batman, he is so much more intense. "DONT SWEAR TO GOD, SWEAR TO ME!!" awww, i loved that part.

equilibrium is a good movie. only saw it once. dont remember my opinion of bale in it though.

never saw american psycho.

Never saw American Psycho??

See Equilibrium and AP again and let me know. Bale does much more actual acting in those two.

I agree he's the best Batman though. At least, he got lucky with the best script.

your not giving him enough credit for his role in batman. bale was amazing. when he was batman you could tell how angry he really is. what can i say? its easily the best batman made, and the best portrayl of batman.

when i see equilibrium and ap ill get back to you.

Don't get me wrong - I also think he made the best Batman. What I meant to say was that it wasn't the role that stretched his acting abilities the most. If you liked him there, you'll love him in Equilibrium and American Psycho.

By the way, Equilibrium has some of the most amazing fighting and "shoot 'em up" sequences ever! Think of the lobby scene from The Matrix but better and with more of them. Plus he also uses katanas as well as guns. If you have a good surround sound setup, you'll really be blown away.

Definitely movies to own not just rent if you like action movies.

Hey Jim, I thought American Psycho was a brilliant film and he really was way cool in it. I saw Batman Begins just the other week on DVD, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. He really did make and excellent Batman.

I have never seen Equilibrium all the way through! I think I have started watching it about 5 times and always fallen asleep before the end. This does not reflect on the quality of the movie, but the fact that for some reason they always put it on TV really late. One day I shall find out what happens in the end.

Physics is for gurls!
