this ancient computer of mine usually crunches a WU in 5-6 hours, but look at this one
http://einsteinathome.org/workunit/11065399
any idea why it took about 5 times longer for the same credit
thanks in advance

It looks like BOINC stopped the science application, restarted it, stopped it again, and then resumed at the first checkpoint; re-crunching what had already been computed. From your stderr out file:

Why this would happen I'm not too sure. You might check to make sure under BOINC general preferences 'Write to disk at most every' is not set very high, the default is 60 seconds. If it is set high and BOINC switches apps, your progress may not have been written to disk. The next time einstein is called it returns to the original checkpoint, re-crunching what had already been calculated but not saved.
There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers. - Richard Feynman
thanks for the imput dave, i

thanks for the imput dave, i have not changed the default settings for BOINC (it is still writing atleast every min) and this is the only project i am running on this machine.
the obvious question is why would BOINC recrunch a WU 3 times.....
oh well, i guess ill just have to cross my fingers and hope it doesnt happen again
