Have laptop runnig ATI mobility Radeon HD 3400 series - can this be used to crunch Einstein? It worked previously, but since reimaging this laptop, get "No work sent", "Your computer has no INVIDIA GPU". Do I have to drop Einstein?

non NVIDIA GPU

As long as your project preferences state that you can use the CPU here, you should also get work requests for the CPU.

Ignore the GPU work requests. Einstein is busy developing an OpenCL application that can also run on ATI cards, but for the moment the work done on GPUs around here is for Nvidia GPUs only.

This doesn't mean that there isn't any work to be done for your computer. Both the Global Correlations S5 HF search #1 and the Binary Radio Pulsar Search run perfectly fine on CPUs as well.

If your BOINC isn't asking for work for the CPU from Einstein at this time, it's possible it's paying CPU time taken by Einstein back to the other projects you're attached to, which have work at this time. That'll play itself out in the end. No need for you to do anything.
