Hi,
I always found distributed computing very interesting.
With distributed computing, people can help the scientific world to discover new things without doing nothing. Just lend science some CPU time.
My first experience with distributed computing was distributed.net (RC5-72)
After a while, it became bored, you actually saw no progress :-)
With Boinc, you know that the CPU time you give away actually means something.
Also, you have alot of projects so you can give your CPU time to the ones that interest you the most.
I'm also very proud of being a member of the best team in Belgium namely BOINC.BE
Why is there a [BMF] tag in my name?
Well in the days of RC5-72 Belgian MoOo Farm was the biggest Belgian team. Now we have combined forces with BOINC.Be. BMF will live on as a subteam in BOINC.Be for internal competition.
You really need competition :P
