Originally a Northern Virginia resident. A Graduate of George Mason University and Pepperdine University School of Law. Now an attorney and a New Mexican resident for over 30 years. I repair computers as a hobby. I love going to airplane and space museums. Thankfully they are both here. But not as good as the Paul E. Garber facility that I highly recommend. http://airandspace.si.edu/museum/garber/
I love to learn how things work and why and do not understand why everyone else does not.
1. I truly believe that the science of gravity will be the next major advancement in science to well and truly get us off this tiny island.
2. I wish there was something more tangible that we could do to advance the science.
3. A. I would like to see a web page devoted to science stories about areas of research and results of that research.
B. I would like to have published a list of short, near and long term goals in each area of science that would be necessary to go to the next level or item on the list toward getting off this island. Example: Any spacecraft will need some kind of shielding for the astronauts that means you have 1. Medical solution; 2. Physical barrier; or 3 some type of Electronic shield. For the Electronic shield you will need power or some means of using the power more efficiently. For Efficiency you would need super conductors. Super conductors have a wide variety of uses here and in other fields. So one solution can relate to another one.
C. I would like to see an organization similar to that described in James P. Hogan's book "Inherit the Stars" "Special Assignment Group L". A clearing house of information discovered by other scientists or persons and provided to the group to provide it to other persons or scientists who may not know about the information because it is out of their speciality but which may have a direct impact on the work that they are trying to do that they disclose. These persons would have to clearly think outside the box
