Profile: Dennis Kleinsmith

Your personal background.
Einstein is in my opinion the greatest scientist of all time. I participated in one of Einstein's theories. This happens to be "the Theory of Relativity". To prove out this theory a group of scientists and engineers developed plans to build the Gravity Probe-B, which has been in orbit since April 2004 and launched from Vandenberg AFB, California. The backbone of the Gravity Probe is the Dewar, which is the worlds largest thermos bottle built by a team of engineers in El Cajon California. I was fortunate enough to be chosen for that task. For updates on the experiment please go to "http://einstein.stanford.edu/highlights/hlindex.html".
In my profile, there is a picture of part of our team who were invited to Vandenberg AFB for the lift-off. I am the person on the left.
