Profile: Vincent Tortoriello

Your personal background.
I am a retired Police Officer (retired in 2001) who happened to just get my phD in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. I did my Bachelors, Master and phD all while on the Roseland, New Jersey Police Department Full time Cop and Full time Student.
I own a Software company in Roseland New Jersey that develops software for Government Agencies like Law Enforcement Agencies, i.e. Police Departments. I also teach part time at Stevens Institute in the Chemical Engineering Department, the class is CH 322, Senior Design II. I previously tought at Stevens for 3 years Che 411 Senior Design Project for Seniors.

I immensely love Physics especially relativety theory and recently got involved in Quantam Theory and the unification of the four forces of nature. I enjoy in my leisure time reading everything and anything relating to unification theory and my background and phD work has helped me tremendously in understanding the complicated mathematics involved in these topics. Even though my descipline is in Chemical Engineering, I treat as a hobby anything that has to do with physics and thats why I decided to sign up for this venture.

I am excited about doing this and look forward to the exciting world and future of physics.

Warm Regards
Vinny Tortoriello
