Your personal background.
I was born 1964 in Munich and still living there.

The first computer I have seen was a Commodore PET, when I was 16 years old. This was so fascinating to me, that I decided to study Information Technology. In 1982 I bought my first computer, this was a Commodore CBM 3032. I used this computer until 1987. When I began studying IT, I bought an Atari ST Computer. My third computer was an Atari Mega ST, when I worked for Borland on Turbo C for Atari ST.

In 1991 I bought my first Windows machine and this was a shock for me comparing to my previous experiences with Atari computers. Now I own several Windows and Linux machines and one Power PC Mac Mini.

Besides my computer I love bycicling (I own a cross bike, a mountain bike and a race bike), playing guitar (I have a Strat and a Les Paul copy) and moutaining (climbing at the "Kaisergebirge" in Tyrol Austria - sorry I don't know the english name - or the Ortler group in South Tyrol Italy)

I hope, that this was not boring for you and there are not too many mistakes in this text.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
For me, Albert Einstein is one of the most important physicists of the world and I dream of a future where scotties transporter and warp engine is real and no longer science fiction.
