Your personal background.
Yellow !

Dont lend me your PC if you dont want it to work for me and Science ! ;)

I'd like to use all this unused (wasted) computing power when PCs are on but dont really work or only for office applications.

Occupation : applied industrial computer science
Hobbies : computer science (again!), my family, carnivorous plants and gardening ... when I have time ... even some times reading SciFi books.

Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I do run E@H to find spinning neutron stars gravitational waves, of course ! ;)

Space always interested me and I wonder if we could travel it soon. (hopeless)

This is, with Seti@home the two main Boinc project I used to run. And I'm waiting for PlanetQuest to complete my collection.

My suggestions ? You mean for the E@H team ?

I strongly suggest to make E@H builds for x86_64, please ! I spent days of WU crunching, seeing results in error before I understood that the broject client would not run on my x86_64 computers :'(

Would also be fun to have a kind of (automatically generated) credit certificate. Like there was before BOINC with seti@home, remember ?

Would be nice to be informed of what/if we found something, maybe displaying it on bottom of the screen saver.

If the screensaver could run smoother... sometimes it does, sometimes not. It might depend on the video card, does it ?
