Your personal background.
My name is Glenn, and I have recently begun my fourth decade here on planet Earth. Born and raised in the little town of Sierra Madre, California, I experienced an unremarkably benign childhood.
After High school, I joined the United States Navy, and was trained in the fields of electro-mechanics, radar, and weapons control systems. Twelve years later, after having had enough of the restrictions placed upon myself by the military, I ended my enlistment to seek employment in the private sector.
Seven years after I moved to San Diego, California, and entered into the job market in the field of cellular communications as a test technician, the rug was pulled out from underneath my feet when the company I was working for moved their manufacturing plant across the border to Tijuana, Mexico.
Currently, I am attending college as a full-time student, where I am working towards a degree in computer information sciences. I plan on furthering my studies in engineering, but have yet to narrow my choices down to a particular discipline.

Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I was introduced to this project by my astronomy professor, well, actually it was Seti@home, and I stumbled onto Einstein@Home while surfing the BOINC site. I feel that searching for spinning pulsars and bursters is a better use for my computer’s otherwise idle time.
