Profile: TinMan

Your personal background.
My name is David G. Herold. I was born in Denton, Texas in the year 1962. After moving to Long Island, New York in '64 and to my present place of residence in Springfield, Vermont in '69 where I received my schooling in business and journalism and after training for a desk job I have later found that my real talents lie in metals and the restoration thereof.
After 20 years of training on the job in fabrication, metal stampings, repair, refinishing and lacquering/painting items that would have more than likely ended up in scrapyards and dumps I've begun a quest.
Started in September 2002: "The Refinished Product; Metals Restoration". Restoring time worn and tarnished metal items of your interest to create "The Refinished Product" for you. To help any and all people who have not been able to find a service such as mine up to this point in time restore their time worn and tarnished metal items of interest to their previous lustre and functionality to aid in their preservation for sales and/or collectability/sentimental reasons.
Semi-precious and non-precious metal antiques, automotive, motorcycle, industrial, interior and exterior decor, etc. that are in need of repair, polish and/or media blasting to remove rust and/or an optional OD RFU clearcoat lacquer and/or paint/faux finish to protect the semi-precious polished finish and/or non-precious prepared surface or that would like to see them brought back to their original lustre and functionality Thanx!
