Profile: DMizo

Your personal background.
Greetings. I am Don Mizokawa and I live in the state of Washington, USA. I am a professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Washington and will soon retire after 32 years on its faculty. I have also become a contributing photographer to iStockphoto based partly on my travel photography, and hope eventually to expand my skills in macrophotography and perhaps even photomicrography.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
A fanatic about hard science fiction, I have been a member of Seti@Home since 1999 and only today switched to BOINC and discovered Einstein@Home. The Nikkei US team will help collimate the efforts of a small minority group in the work of science, since Nikkei (Japanese Americans) have been in all the sciences and humanities in America but without a high profile. BOINC epitomizes teamwork versus aggressive competition, and I feel quite comfortable about my participation.
