Profile: Jared Woolston

Your personal background.
I am an Aerospace Engineering student at Arizona State University with a strong love for the advancement of science and engineering in general, but primarily with the goal of populating other bodies in space. My personal skills relate to the fields of Aerospace (focus on rocket propulsion and spatial vehicles) and electronics (AI, control systems, etc) and the necessary programming for them.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I run Einstein@Home because I have a fondness for theories that challenge the norm but have preliminary data to support them. I also feel that it is a very well run project and while it might not lead to something like the cure for cancer (I do contribute to humanity in that respect as well) I believe it will give us a more fundamental understanding of the physics of our universe, and who knows, maybe lead to something spectacular like a new kind of propulsion system.
