| It all began in the year of nineteen hundred and sixty eight.... as a wee child Iva was born in a little ghost town in Nevada, USA. Or the alien craft abandoned her there. We aren't sure yet which it is. When her earth Mother found her she was being raised by wild arctic pack wolves and living in a hollow log. Her wonderful earth Mother whom she fondly refers to as Mom, now already had 4 boys and incidentally the boys looked just like Iva. So her Mother decided to keep her. The family resided in South Shore Lake Tahoe. Considering it could be worse Iva decided to stay. At the age of four she started entertaining with a hair brush for a microphone and a fireplace as a stage singing "Jeremiah was a Bullfrog". I think she probably sounded more like a bullfrog... Early into her teens Iva dabbled in dancing and singing in a Baptist Choir. Later friends would ask her to do commercials for their businesses and she also did a little modeling along with some Radio work for KKDJ which landed her small body of work on the Dr. Demento Show. Iva's passion was actually to be a Dr. but, considering her biological father spent all their money partying Iva worked on an ambulance and moved to Los Angeles to become a Paramedic. While in Los Angeles she was offered modeling work and decide to study acting to relieve the stress from saving lives and moving hyperchondriacs around all day. Once into acting Iva decided this was her passion and for the last 17 years this is what she has been perusing and actually doing. View the "Resume" page to see Iva's body of work. I hope you found this somewhat imaginary yet, mostly true story a little interesting. Last but certainly not least... Iva has an adorable little daughter, oh all right! She isn't so little but, if I reveal her age I will be giving away too many secrets. Also "Frankie Einstein Franks" is her dog...he's very bright with crazy hair! | |
