Roman Republic denarius of the gens TITIA circa 90 BC
attributing ancient and medieval coinage has always been an immersion into
History, especially the deciphering of Latin abbreviations/fragments to put a place and time onto the piece.
It becomes even more challenging with Greek fragments.
