Your personal background.
I live in Andersonville, Tennessee, and work in Oak Ridge (of Manhattan Project fame). I received a PhD in Geology from University of South Carolina--I love science, though no longer work in a scientific field. Instead, I am Executive Director of the Oak Ridge Reservation Local Oversight Committee (see www.local-oversight.org), an advocacy group representing the interests of local governments with respect to U.S. Department of Energy decisions. I live on a small piece of paradise with 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 alpacas and 11 llamas (with more on the way). I'm pleased to be able to contribute to increasing our knowledge of the world and physical phenomena. --Susan Gawarecki
