Hi there. I'm a third year Applied Physics major at UC Santa Cruz. I enjoy physics because it's an extremely thorough explanation of what simply IS in this realm. My specific interests lie in aerospace/space sciences. I'll admit, my infatuation with physics lies in the experimental/physical/applied sense, but I do have a great respect and admiration for the conceptual/theoretical study of physics.
P.S. I wouldn't mind seeing UCSC a little higher on the charts, so keep on submitting those work units! |

| After running SETI@Home for the last few years, I was alerted to Einstein@Home by my roommate Jared. In learning about the practicalities of this project as opposed to SETI@Home, I found this project a much more realistic scientific goal to spend time and microprocessor cycles to. I believe this project is going places and will be an invaluable asset to the community. |
