| Attorney, animal rights and environmental activist, Progressive Democrat, civil libertarian, political consultant, campaign manager, fundraiser, motorcyclist, sailor, and pilot. I collect antique furniture and classic motorcycles. The motorcycle above is not mine, although I consider it one of the most beautiful ever built. It is by Jesse Rooke of Rooke Cutoms in Arizona. Partial to Classic Rock, single malt Scotch, Skoal Long Cut Straight and veggie burgers. My wife, Carrie, (a professional violinist) earned her PhD at USC. My son, Mac, 17, is an accomplished pianist. We live in Juniper Hills, CA (in the foothills of the Southern Mojave Desert) on a 38 acre horse ranch.
