I run Einstein@Home because I would love to see experimental verification of gravity waves in my lifetime. Latest data (March 06) on very rapidly-rotating neutron stars suggests that the current theoretical model probably needs modifying, so it will be interesting to see if anything new turns up via this project.
I'm a strong supporter of the project, where in practical terms everything seems to be running very smoothly indeed at the client end. The software (and its hardware implementation) is certainly a 'cut above' that used by most other projects (which I discreetly won't name!)
