| I'm a retired music librarian with a strong interest in science generally and astronomy and botany in particular. I also have dabbled in linguistics and various other scholarly pursuits. I took early retirement (I'm currently 66) because I wanted to travel more. I've visited almost all the countries in Europe, including Turkey, and China, Japan, Laos and Thailand. Northern Africa and the Persian Gulf are likely my next destinations, but I'm partial to Southeast Asia. |
