| Date and place of birth: 11.07.1958,Timisoara Diagnosis:cerebral palsy, extra-pyramidal syndrome of birth (athetosis and torsion spasm, dystonic torticolis, difficulties in walking and speaking), secundary artrophathy. I have one twin brother without health problems. I followed gymnasium and lyceum at the School of Fine Arts (the painting section). I painted and I was very skilful. I made many paintings and I encountered success at various exhibitions. In order to diminish the spasms, I supported a surgical intervention on the right Hemisphere (in April 1990). The second surgical intervention was for the left hemisphere. After that, the left side of the body was a little de-contracted, but due to the great difference compared to the right side, the involuntary motion acts became more intense. As a consequence, the dis-equilibrium became more intense, and the independent locomotion was completely lost. Also, the speaking is difficult to me. At the present moment I’m attempting to pass the situation through physiotherapy (massage, gymnastics),cure medical attendance. I’m staying in the wheelchair all day long. That’s because I can’t walk, although three years before I walked by my own. I like listening jazz and blues music, working at the computer,I.T., communicate on the Internet and watch movies. Between 1998-2004 in my health didn’t appear important changes, just an little increasing in dysfunction of my handles neuromotor functions. All the time I hardly use my hands because I hardly move and coordinate them. I believe that I still have big inside resource and physical and neurological state which could allowed me to recover my orthostatic equilibrium and using my hands for personal autonomy. I ask the neurologist doctors for help. I need theirs recent knowledge about my neuromotor disorders to help me in recover my good health and the joy for life.
