Your personal background.
I am currently a calibration technician/metrologist working in the optics field. I also go to school and am a physics/mathematics major.

In the small amount of free time that I have, I like to read, listen to music, hike, off road, bowl, play video games, watch movies, and of course, ride my motorcycle.

An old coach of mine used to tell us that there was no "I" in team. One day I told him, "That may be true, but you can't have a team without 'ME'." He wasn't impressed...
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I am running this project because I figure that I might as well do something with my idle CPU time. Do I think we will find these things? Probably not. At least, not in this manner. Although I am greatly impressed with the project. I've found that, quite often, the harder you search for something, the more elusive it will remain. Would be fun to ride a gravity wave though...surf's up.(that was meant as a joke, in case you missed it)
