Retired social studies teacher; taught social studies methods SIUE, high interest in space, read Ray Bradbury, science fiction writer in his original works as a teen, amateur astronomy,postage stamp exhibitor, 70, great wife, lets me do hobbies. Write a bit, mostly non fiction about teaching history, pol sci but mysteries are of interest; retired about 5 years. Manchester, MO home since 1973; watched stars from home in Potosi, MO never lost wonder or interest.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
1. Have always wanted to explore and assist in discovery of Universe; run SETI, too. Was very early participant in that in early Apple II days.
2. Seems to be good use of computer power to locate stars that are dangerous for space travel but also help explain some of the current Universe.
3. Am pleased to be a somewhat passive participant--keep up the good work
