Profile: Jason Murphy

Your personal background.
I am working towards a doctorate in philosophy here in St. Louis. I specialize in Contemporary German Philosophy and Political Philosophy.

Those who wish to know more about such things should visit:

Habermas Links: www.habermasonline.org
Some intro to Jürgen Habermas, one of the most important living philosophers.

Stanford On-line Encyclopedia: www.plato.stanford.edu
Nice browsing through scholarly articles on almost every issue.

US Basic Income Group: www.usbig.net or Basic Income Earth Network www.bien.org
This group has what I think is the best answer for securing our most important capabilities are promoted (solidarity), while distributing some wealth (equality), with comparably little bureaucracy and no intrusive demands on citizens (liberty).

While this picture was taken in Western Germany (Ruedesheim), I joined OstDeutschland\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s team because I enjoyed seeing Berlin/Brandenburg and Thuringia. Also, I can\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t help but feel some sympathy for the East as an American from one of the Southern states-- Arkansas.

I should say that St. Louis is a highly underestimated city. Great casual restaurants and the museum and zoo do not charge a Groschen. So come on over.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I am pleased to honor Einstein by helping with this project, which I confess I do not completely understand.

I hope that confirmation and falsifications are reported in a way such that I understand a little more about physics.

I have over 10,000 credits that I logged on for this team under \\\\\\"Jason B. Murphy\\\\\\" so add them up and I am-- still in ninth place!
