Your personal background.
i am 41 years old, got a lovely wife and a daughter of almost 3.
My interest in physics and astronomy has his ups and downs. Now that i have a common job sometimes i wonder what if...i would have kept on studying...i would have become a scolar...a scientist....an astronaut (my very first wish for as far i can remember ;-) ).
Well besides all of that i am glad to contribute anyway to the fields i once wanted to belong to. Even if it is only the humming of my pc that reminds me of the contribution i am making. With pleasure... .

Yours,

Ronald
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I think pc and mac in personal use (at home) have a lot of idle time...most people only use it as a multimedia equipment but if i can contribute my "processors spare time" to things far more important i think it is almost a duty.
And to you guys it must be awesome to have an humungus computer network at your fingertips.
I think of it as the best and "simple" idea since the paperclip, french fries, post its, chinese take aways... . I am fully behind it. Great project.

Why not include schools or clubs to your projects and give them feedback on their processes. It is great to experiment following the layouts of the schoolbooks but to be participating in an actual "world wide researchprogram" must be thrilling for youngsters and give them an general interest in science perhaps even as a carreer prospect... .
