Profile: Sparky

Your personal background.
I have been crunching for SETI since 2000. . . Since my competition with Solo (One of teammates in blacksheep squadron in S@H) is complete; I have been looking around for other ways to use my CPU Cycles. I am the very model of a (currently out of work) Networking Individual (sung to the tune of a modern major general).

I have two cats (who live with me), one son (who does not), and a beautiful, wonderful girlfriend (who, also, does not). The cats and the girlfriend all indulge my computer hobby. As time rolls on I will donate more and more computer cycles to the E@H project, as this is only my second DC project (third if you count both incarnations of S@H) I just want to see how it hinders my RAC for SETI.

My other passions include, but are not limited to, Sci-Fi/Fantasy (reading and writing) currently awaiting the latest release of the Harry Dresden Files, Music (in all it's varied and eclectic forms), Movies (ditto), Camping, Travel, Sailing, The Caribbean, and. . . well, er, you know - After all I am a guy!!!
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I have few heroes with which I try to model my self after: Tesla, Einstein, etc. . . I run E@H to contribute to the further understaning of the Universe and it's workings.

This particular project (having read the forums for some time before joining) is probably one of the best run/managed projects currently in production - and therefore worthy of my time and money investment. Kudos to the dev team.

The only suggestion I have is to keep working towards optimization across all platforms, and continue the good work!
