Profile: Picard

Your personal background.
Hi. I am 36 and working as a product manager in the Telecom business.

I am interested in IT and computers since I was 14.
My first computer was a Sinclair ZX-81. I learned programming on it in Basic.
Looking back to those days is very funny. It had a memory of 1 kilobyte!

My actual computers are a little bit better ones :))
I work a lot, but I realized that there are still lots of unused time where the capabilities of the computers are not used.

So, I think BOINC is a great idea to use the spare computation power of the PC's for useful researches to help mankind find new cures, help scientific researches or if you like Sci-Fi you even can help to find some little green Martians in our galaxy. :))
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
