Profile: Mike Heaton

Your personal background.
I'm 22 years old and I'm nearing the end of my fourth year of an Astrophysics course at Liverpool University. Hopefully with the right degree, I'll be attending the Astrophysics Research Institute in Birkenhead for my PhD.

I'm interested in ten pin bowling, playing guitar, computer games and animé. I'm into rock, heavy metal, punk and ska, but will end up listening to anything if I really enjoy it, I still have a home for happy hardcore music!
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I've decided to run Einstein@home because I really hope we can find gravitational waves. I'm currently working on my final year project based on gravitational waves and it has really fuelled my interest in the field. Hopefully I'll be able to help more in the future but for now I think this is the best I can do.
