I am a managing partner of a venture consulting firm, currently directing the technical strategy for a rapidly expanding software company. "Big Science" has become my Big Hobby of late.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I think we have a fair chance of seeing an unambiguous gravitational wave event in the science runs from this generation of observatories. Either way, the faster we can plow through the data, the sooner we will have an answer.

I appreciate the defined scope and high likelihood of results from this project. Switching a bunch of idle machines to this task seemed like a nice thing to do for Einstein's birthday.
