| Now in my mid-thirties, I am enjoying a second career as a freelance photographer -- the result of a concerted effort to live a more sane life than I did as a general science teacher at the public school, junior-high level. I live near Boulder, Colorado, USA, with a delightful life-partner who happily indulges my love for cuddles and laughter and my need to bounce up and smell the stupid flowers every morning. We share our home with an obstreperous calico cat and an ultra-mellow golden retriever. Life is good. I enjoy caffeine paddling through my veins on little sugar rafts, making tiles and pottery, reading just about everything, rainbows, funky little boutiques, and being around gentle souls from all walks of life. Sometimes I'm young and silly, sometimes old and very serious, and sometimes just in need of an afternoon nap. | |
