Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Albert Einstein: Why do you run Einstein@Home?

Dion: First off I am a big Albert Einstein fan. Impressed by both his character and his genius. While I am not employed in the field of astro physics I have a great deal of knowlege of in the fields of computer hardware/software, physical chemistry, organic chemistry, and microbiology/molecular biology. I also like to keep up with people and projects in the indrustry of the sciences, technology, and higher education (and it doesn't get much higher than this). If we can learn something that will help the earth and it's inhabitants then I am proud to a homosapian (human).

Albert Einstein: What are your views about the project?

Dion: With the recent "Cosmic Blast" that occured on Dec. 27 2004 my views are that we really need to keep an eye on what's going on in our solar system, our galaxy, and the outer reaches of the universe. I had known about the SETI@HOME project but did not feel it was as important because I have already seen an Alien/Extraterrestrial being. We don't need to find them because they found us. On the other hand the search for pulsars, magnetars, and other stellar object/materials/forces seems to make more sense. Math shows they exist. We know how to detect them. We know the danger of not being prepared in the event of a cosmic catastrophy. So if we can get the job done while I enjoy my Starbucks coffee. I'm Happy!

Albert Einstein: Do you have any suggestions?

Dion: Duh.........,

Ofcoarse I have sugestions. I am usually the squeaky wheel that get's fixed. I will spend some time reviewing the technology and scientific methods being use for this project and at that point I will share my suggestions and any other revelations I may have. I thank all for the opportunity to share my views. Thank you for listening and keep up the good work.

Sincerly,
