| I'm running Einstein@Home so that I can feel like I'm not a totally wasteful jerk for buying a new PC solely to play games. I spend so much time at work, that I figure someone ought to get some use out of my comp during all that downtime. Plus, I love the idea of being able to contribute to something much larger than myself. And when I'm doing development and analysis work, the pain of having more data than processing power is all too real. |
