| I participate in the Berkeley projects because deep down inside I want to do what I can to aid the world in whatever way I'm able. I am disabled and so I have a different schedule than most that work a regular job. Striving to help those closest to me first and the rest of the world after that right? I may not understand all of the information that is processed or derived from GRID computing but I am willing to do my part to help those that do understand. How do I feel about the SETI project? I think the government was foolish for reducing funding. I think that Humanity will find the answers that it is seeking through the SETI project, I want to be the one who processes the first packet of data that finds a signal out there from ET! If I could afford a AS400 to attach I would do it in a minute! | |
