Why I participate... i figured my pc's could do something useful when i'm afk. Looking for existence of gravity waves makes much more sense to me than looking for extraterrestrial intelligent life (what would this knowledge change, especially since more or less of us already belive in aliens - bred into our minds by sci-fi). My main interest involves object detection by gravity fields. Each object with it's specific size and mass (witch should be relatively unique) generates a gavity field and if this could be filtered out of all other surrounding gravity fields the object and its movement (maybe even it's behaviour) could be monitored. the smaller object the more difficult it would be, but i think in case of cosmical objects this could come into question maybe even at our current level of technology. Unfortunately I have no PhD in physics so at the moment I'd rather look forward to the upcomings of other brilliant minds.
