| Hi, I'm Diego from Madrid (Spain). I'm aged 18 and I'm studyng physics at university. I have lots of hobbies: meeting friends, reading and watching films (sci-fi books and films the most). I have a passion for astronomy and another types of intelligent life (here on the Earth...or not) |

| I joined Einstein@Home because my computer was wasting too many time without doing anything useful, and of all the projects I got information from, this was the most interesant... Well, not exactly: When I downloaded BOINC, I was only thinking on SETI@Hmoe, but I heard about some rumours that said that SETI@home had so many members that they had more processing capacity than units of information. The result of that was that some units were being processed again and again by different computers: joining that moment SETI project was completely unuseful. I wanted to help researching: I knew how bad was the spanish research (not enough money), and I thought that BOINC will be my way to help the scientific community, but not for an already full (of people) project. I recommend everybody to join Einstein@home. |
