I think these projects are neat in general. Every little bit helps. If there is anything to find in all this data, it is much more likely to be found with all of us looking.
It's also kinda fun seeing how much you can get your computer to process, and trying to get it to out-perform others.
Plus, wouldn't it be awesome to be the one to actually find a gravitational wave! |
