Profile: Sandeep Murthy

Your personal background.
I'm a mathematics Ph. D. student at Oxford Brookes University, England. My research is concerned with the algebraic complexity of matrix multiplication and algebraic methods for getting faster matrix multiplication algorithms.

From Sep. 2004 to Jan. 2007 I was an M. Sc. student at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, The Netherlands, specializing in mathematics, mathematical logic, and theoretical computer science. Areas of study / research included algebraic logic, Fourier analysis, Fourier analysis on finite groups, quantum computing & quantum information, algebraic complexity theory, number theory, information theory, coding theory and cryptography, probability & statistical inference.
