Profile: Stephen Sekula

Your personal background.
I am an MIT physicist working at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. Besides physics, I enjoy reading novels and poems, as well as writing and playing music.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I am a firm believer in distributed computing as a solution to the scalibility problem of hardware when confronted with immense and detailed datasets. I am excited to be a part of an analysis project involving distributed computing, and I am interested in learning how much this project benefits the LIGO data analysis effort.
