Your personal background.
I was born in Guayaquil - Ecuador. I went to a military private High School - Liceo Naval- and right after graduation I moved to the USA. I studied at SDCC (including Mesa and South Western Colleges), SDSU, UABC (Ensenada - Mexico) and graduated from UCSD. I graduated in ICAM - Interdisciplinary Computing and The Arts Major - http://visarts.ucsd.edu/undergrad/icam.html and currently trying to get into a Post-Baccalaureate Program that will allow me to get into a PhD. program. Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I like the "research" field and (since I can not contribute in the economical/financial way) helping with the crunching of data I feel that I am contributing in a small way in the progress of science.
Therefore helping SETI / BOINC and similar projects makes sense, by allowing the un-use power of our home computers, we are helping the field of sciences to achieve their goal.
