King Mongkut's Institute of Technology North Bangkok was established by Co-operation between the Thai Government and the Federal Republic of Germany as the “Thai-German Technical School.� In 1996, KMITNB became an autonomous university, with a commitment to the development of human resources with proven excellence in the fields of science and technology at advanced levels and with a fair balance of knowledge and morality ; creating the capacity to innovate and improve appropriate applications, thereby assisting sustainable economic, social, and environmental development.
