Profile: Mike

Your personal background.
I am a 67 year old retired software design engineer, university lecturer, corporate technical trainer, and dedicated Mac addict. My current passions are computers; classical, bluegrass, celtic and jazz music; reformed and process theology; trains (the real ones not models); visual art; and our home, Fort Worth, Texas -- not necessarily in that order.

My time is divided between providing support on a Macintosh troubleshooting forum, activities at our church, online seminary courses in theology, drawing classes, attending the arts, and working in my shop. My interests are catholic, my beliefs egalitarian, my politics [bi]classical[/i] Republican definitely not neocon, my social and theological viewpoint liberal.

On my to do list is learning more about string theory, recaulk the bathtub in the master bath, complete the lesson plans for the class I am to teach at church, and practice playing the five string banjo.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
For one reason to honor a personal hero of mine Albert Einstein and for another the objective is very interesting.
