Profile: Dale Martin

Your personal background.
I'm in my late 30's. I've been interested in astronomy and other related areas since I was 7 or 8 and have owned a telescope since age 10. I live in Oregon. The only negative drawback of celestial viewing is finding an open area away from the influence of the city lights.
I also love photography. One of these days when I can afford it, I'd like to purchase an adapter to attach my digital camera to my telescope and do some celestial photography.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I'm running Einstein@Home in conjunction with Seti@Home. I believe any help I can give in discovering new pulsars is well worth my time. Plus I find it exciting that for the last few years, average folks can be part of the research that previously was limited to universities and government programs.
